Pope Francis Is Shaking Up The Church, And We Can't Stand It!

Are You really Serious right now?

I have to say this!
I'm Sick and tired of all the vitriol hurled at our new Holy Father!
He's too liberal, he's too conservative, he likes to wear black shoes, he doesn't dress in all the Papal attire that Popes wear, He doesn't celebrate Mass properly, he washes the feet of "infidels", he washes womens feet and not just men, he wears the glasses I don't like, he prefers Crest toothpaste and not Colgate, and "Did you see the way he smiles? He's faking the whole thing!"

STOP IT!!!!

I cannot believe the things I'm hearing and reading. It makes me sick. I expect these kind of vial comments from the outside world, but CATHOLICS? Not the SSPX but Roman Catholics!

You know I recall a story I once heard about a man named Jesus, who went around telling the Pharisees that while ritual and law was important, The law and rituals had no power to save them, it was a total submission and love for Christ, and a true living out of Faith that made you Holy and then the law and rituals would have their true meaning. Not the other way around.

If we open our hearts fully to what God is doing through Pope Francis we will truly begin to see Gods message.

Is the Pope perfect? No...but if we stop and pay attention we will see Christ in him. He makes you look inside yourself and realize just how sinful we really are.
Out of all of the TLM masses you've been to, could you kiss the foot of a prisoner, or outcast (can we see Jesus in those people like Francis does)? When you've met face to face with the poorest of the poor, smell and stench, dirty and wretched, did the TLM make you hold them, and comfort them, and show them Jesus?
In a position of power and authority (Boss, Pastor,  Police Officer, etc...) can Tradition show great mercy to those who need it most no matter how wretched or awful the person at hand may be and see them as being on equal ground or even better than you?

My point isn't to despise Tradition and the Traditional Mass, I love the richness that is with our Traditional Church. I really do, but if we were to focus on our passionate and undying love for Jesus then would our Liturgies, mass, and reverence, no matter how we feel about certain Rites change the face of the world...Well, Jesus seemed to think so. Just ask the Pharisees and Sadducees.
